Week 1: I started this program to make a serious change in my lifestyle. I knew that my diet was going to change and my level of physical activity was going to increase greatly. What I didn’t expect was to find out how out of shape I really was. This is a good thing, because it’s now a challenge to get better and healthier than the previous day. My diet and lifestyle is adjusting every day and I was encouraged when I lost 9 lbs and 3% body fat in my first week. My goal for week 2 is to lose 6lbs and 3% more body fat (are you questioning how much fat this guy has?).
Week 2: I went into week 2 with goals of losing 6lbs and 3% body fat. I lost 1 pound and lost 3% body fat. After reviewing my diet, there were some minor adjustments I need to make, but I am moving forward and working on slimming down and toning up.
The experience has been great! My workouts for week 2 were far better than week 1. Lilli Bartalos is a great to work with and I appreciate the time and effort she is putting in to my workout. Christina Larson is just as great, I appreciate all she has done and is doing.
Both trainers have slightly different theories, but both are working for me. They both demand the best from and then some. I can say that during the workouts I have been getting my butt kicked, but I feel great when I walk out of the studio because I know I did something that is making a change physically and mentally. I look forward to week 3 and progressing toward my goals.
Week 3: This week was a bit more intense than the previous 2, but that is expected. My results on the scale were better than last time. Loss of 6 pounds is more than I expected.
Part of the reason why I wanted to do this was to be physically active. My wife and 3.5 year old daughter are supportive and engaging in more activity. It helps the weather is nicer. My daughter will stretch out with me, do lunges and only a few burpies. My results have been an encouragement to my entire family, which is what I like to see.
